For St. Patrick’s day have a green breakfast smoothie. This small green smoothie is filled with delicious flavor, fiber and healthy fat! Get energized with the Luck of the Irish smoothie!

Prep time: 3-5 minutes

Blend time: 1-2 minutes

Serving size: one small smoothie

Ingredients:

Half of a banana

Handful of kale and spinach

1 tsp almond butter

1/3 cup almond milk

1/2 tbsp flax seeds

To start this green smoothie, put one half of a banana in the blender. Then, add the greens (kale and spinach). Greens are always great to have and they don’t have much of a taste once in the smoothie. Now to add the healthy fat! Put 1 tsp almond butter in the blender. Healthy fat helps curves cravings and relaxes the body. Add 1/2 tbsp flax seeds as the fiber. Fiber is a key ingredient to improve your gut health! Finally time for the last ingredient, almond milk!
